This month it’s all cartoon content—no time to write further dissections of Peep Show episodes and whatnot, as I’m wrapping up a children’s book I’ve been illustrating for ages, and preparing new, longer comics. Making these improvised morning cartoons has been good for my soul, so I shall keep going with them too.

Been rediscovering Katamari with the new remaster. It aged so well—goes to show that all you need is great design, the rest will follow. And the encyclopedia is incredible! It feels like they closely examined every aspect of the game, from loading screens to menus and made every single thing fun. Probably the best example of comedy I’ve seen in a game, both in writing and design.
